We just have added a few photos of around our house in our photos area. Elissa and I have been struggling to quickly learn as much as we can about gardening. I have been focusing on the veggie garden and Elissa has been playing with the flowering variety.

I still don’t understand how a hibiscus can be one of two hundred different plants either a small shrub to a large tree. We have a hydrangea and a couple of hibiscus, but I always call them by the wrong names.

We have really enjoyed our patio, it has become an extension of our house as a dinning area. I love to cook on the grill and eat outside as much as possible with tikki torches and candles on the table.

We held a cookout and open house on Saturday. There were at least fifty people that showed up throughout the evening. It was a blast to have so many of our friends over to enjoy the great backyard that we are blessed to be the care takers.

This cookout is planned to become an annual spring Grace Mingles event the weekend before Memorial Day.
